Courtney L. (née Fallon) Nerenberg, 54, of Spring Lake Heights passed away Thursday, March 23, 2023 at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank with her beloved family at her bedside.

Courtney was born in Miami, FL. and grew up in Ossining, NY. She graduated from The Catholic University of America and was employed as a Pharmaceutical Sales Representative for Novartis Corporation.

She had lived in Ocean Twp, before moving to Spring Lake Heights 10 years ago. She and her family were Communicants of St. Catharine’s Church, Spring Lake.

Surviving are her devoted husband John ‘Jay’ Nerenberg of 21 years, her beloved daughters Alexis and Mackenzie Nerenberg both at home, her parents Dennis F. and Mary T. (née McGarrity) Fallon of Spring Lake, her 4 brothers Dennis and spouse Denise of Milltown, NJ, Kieran and wife Katie of Leesburg, VA, Matthew and wife Susan of Huntington, NY, NY, and John and wife Beth of Rochester, MN, Jay’s parents, Dr. John Nerenberg and wife Kimberly of Wall Twp., and his sister Kereth and husband Paul Looney, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Courtney was full of love and energy, a devoted fitness enthusiast, and above all a caring mother, daughter and aunt who put family above all. She was always authentic, lived life to the fullest and knew how to light up a room with her incredibly outgoing personality. A true Celtic warrior, she had the gift of gab and left a huge impression on everyone she met. She leaves a large hole in the lives of many, who find some comfort in knowing she is at peace in Heaven.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, March 28, 2023 at 10:00 am in St. Catharine’s Church, 215 Essex Ave., Spring Lake. No flowers will be accepted at the Church in observance of the period of Lent. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Courtney’s name be made to Monmouth County SPCA, 260 Wall St., Eatontown, NJ 07724.
