WELL, JENNY, MIKE, LIKE YOU SAID, WE’RE ABLE TO CONFIRM THAT ONE PERSON HAS DIED. WESTMORELAND COUNTY 911 TELLS US THAT FOUR AT LEAST FOUR OTHERS WERE HURT. I’LL TAKE A LOOK AT THIS SCENE. THIS IS IN THE 800 BLOCK OF LOWRY AVENUE IN JEANNETTE. WE’RE GOING TO ZOOM IN TO THIS DOOR HERE WITH CAUTION TAPE STRETCHED ACROSS IT. WE’VE SEEN STATE POLICE OFFICERS AND OTHER INVESTIGATORS COMING IN AND OUT OF THAT DOOR. IT’S UNCLEAR EXACTLY THE CONNECTION BETWEEN THAT BUILDING THERE, THAT DOOR AND THIS SHOOTING. BUT I CAN TELL YOU THAT THAT SHOOTING SCENE IS CENTERED RIGHT HERE IN THIS 800 BLOCK. NOW, WE KNOW THAT AT LEAST THREE OF THOSE SHOOTING VICTIMS WERE TRANSPORTED BY GROUND TO FORBES HOSPITAL. WE ALSO LEARNED SHORTLY AFTER THAT THAT ANOTHER PERSON, THAT FIFTH PERSON WALKED INTO AND HEMPFIELD AND THEN WAS FLOWN TO A PITTSBURGH HOSPITAL. SO, AGAIN, STILL GATHERING INFORMATION ON SCENE HERE. OF COURSE, STATE POLICE VERY HEAVY PRESENCE FROM THEM, AS WELL AS OTHER LOCAL LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCIES AND, OF COURSE, FIRST RESPONDERS HERE. WE KNOW THAT THE CORONER’S OFFICE IS ON THEIR WAY HERE BECAUSE OF ONE PERSON THAT WAS SHOT AND KILLED. WE’LL KEEP YOU UPDATED AS WE GET ANY MORE NEW INFORMATION. One person died and at least four others were injured in a shooting in Westmoreland County on Friday night, emergency dispatchers said.Watch the breaking news report in the video above.The shooting on Lowry Avenue in Jeannette was reported just before 9:30 p.m.The coroner’s office said a woman died in the shooting. Her name has not been released.Three people were taken to Forbes Hospital in Monroeville, and a fourth person walked into AHN Hempfield and was flown to a Pittsburgh hospital, dispatchers said.No details about the incident were available as state police continued to investigate at the scene late Friday night.This is a developing story.
