A Florida mansion was listed last month for $85 million, and it’s in Indian Creek Village, one of the richest neighborhoods in the U.S.
The seven-bedroom, 14-bathroom waterfront home is part of Indian Creek, an ultra luxe, super exclusive private island known as “Billionaire Bunker.” Celebrity neighbors include NFL GOAT Tom Brady, former First Daughter Ivanka Trump and her husband, Jared Kushner, and Spanish singer Julio Iglesias, one of the most successful and popular singers of his era.
Indian Creek or Indian Creek Island is a 300-acre island in Biscayne Bay with about 30 homes and a country club and golf course.
On May 27, David Chen went out on a “curiosity paddle” from nearby Oleta River State Park and posted his kayaking adventure on Facebook. His photos and video clips give an exclusive view to one of the world’s most famous neighborhoods. He “paddled by Beer Can Island (Sandspur Island) and Kayaking Cove island before crossing the very busy boat channel to Indian Creek,” he said in his post.

Where is Indian Creek Village in Florida?
Indian Creek Island is a 300-acre island in Biscayne Bay. 91st Street connects it to the “mainland.” In addition to the mansions there, residents have access to the Indian Creek Country Club. The area has its own law enforcement, Indian Creek Village Police Department.
“The security appears to be tight around the island,” Chen said on his social post. “As I paddled around it, a police boat came cruising past twice.”

According to Chen, the island is less than a half square mile in size and contains 38 plots, of which 31 have been developed. A photo gallery above shows 17 homes in Indian Creek Village.

In December 2020, Tom Brady and his then-wife, supermodel Gisele Bundchen, bought a $17 million house in Indian Creek Island. They were married from 2009 to fall 2022.

In 2019, Brady left the New England Patriots for a two-year, $50 million deal to play quarterback for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
The 42-year-old Bundchen, one of the highest paid models in the world, is a Brazilian supermodel, author, environmental activist and former Victoria’s Secret angel.
Brady and Bundchen moved to Florida in 2020. A year later, Brady won his seventh Super Bowl ring with Tampa Bay.
The former couple are parents to their two children, Benjamin and Vivian. Brady also has a son, Jack, with his ex, actress Bridget Moynahan (“Blue Bloods,” “John Wick” film series).
Tom Brady announced his retirement near Indian Creek
In a selfie video, Tom Brady, the GOAT of football, announced his (second) retirement from the NFL from a beach in Surfside in North Miami, which is close to Indian Creek Village. The location of the retirement announcement became a hot topic when someone collected sand from the beach where Brady filmed his selfie video, placed it in a Mason jar, and then put it up for auction. The owner started the bidding at $677 in honor of the total of passing and rushing touchdowns Brady scored in his 23-year career.

The property spans 80,000 square feet, according to a Facebook post by Dina Goldentayer Real Estate.
A story in Forbes shows the listing by Dina Goldentayer and Danilo Tavares of Douglas Elliman. “If sold for asking, this home would break the record for the most expensive sale in Billionaire’s Bunker. The current neighborhood record was a home sold in 2019 down the road for $50 million,” the story states.
Which celebrities live in Indian Creek or Billionaire’s Bunker?
A former First Daughter of the United States calls Indian Creek home. Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner paid $32 million for an empty waterfront lot on the island from singer Julio Iglesias, Enrique Iglesias’ father, according to Business Insider.
Billionaire Norman Braman, an American car dealer and former owner of the Philadelphia Eagles, owns a home there, according to David Chen. Other notable residents, he added, include Don Shula and Carl Icahn.
Adriana Lima, a fellow Brazilian supermodel and former Victoria’s Secret Angel like Gisele Bundchen, previously lived in Indian Creek. News reports show Lima sold her Florida mansion for $40 million.
