Jean (née Spinozzi) Pieroni, 88 of Wall, and formerly of Paramus, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, August 1, 2023.
Jean had been employed as a legal secretary at Burns & Roe in Oradell for many years before her retirement in December 2006.
Born in Jersey City to the late Guido and Yolanda (née D’Alesio) Spinozzi, she was raised in Ridgefield, where Jean met and married the love of her life Ronald Pieroni. They built their home and life in Paramus while also enjoying summers at the Jersey Shore.
A devout Catholic, Jean was a member of the Church of the Annunciation, Paramus and Parish Choir.
After Jean’s retirement she became a full time Jersey Shore resident, a member of St. Catharine’s Parish, Spring Lake and member of the Spring Lake Garden Club.
Jean was predeceased by her parents, her husband Ronald Pieroni and sister Joan Spinozzi.
Jean’s love and kindness is survived by her devoted son Garry and wife Amy of Wall, sisters Theresa Neshan and Linda Balis of Wall, brother Guido Spinozzi of Hackensack, sister in law Genevieve (née Pieroni) Harvel of Ponte Vedra Beach, FL., her 2 adoring grandchildren Taylor and Paige Pieroni, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be on Sunday from 3:00pm to 7:00pm at the O’Brien Funeral Home, 2028 Hwy. 35 at New Bedford Rd., Wall, NJ 07719 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, August 7, 2023 at 10:00am in St. Catharine’s Church, 215 Essex Ave., Spring Lake, NJ 07762. Interment will be private.
