Marilyn R. Grinwis, 92, of Manasquan, NJ, passed away peacefully on November 21, 2023, surrounded by family. Marilyn and her family moved to the Brielle area in 1968 from Essex Fells, NJ. She had belonged to the Church in Brielle and was a part of numerous clubs. Marilyn was a part of the Women’s Club of Brielle, The Manasquan River Golf Club, and The Manasquan River Yacht Club. She enjoyed golfing, knitting, playing cards, and all games, but mostly Bridge and Rummikub. Marilyn was also an avid gardener.
Marilyn was predeceased by her loving husband, John C. Grinwis, her daughter Deborah G. Zilai, and her brother Donald Richards. Marilyn is survived by her daughters Donna Hans, Diane G. Gundrum son-in-law Christopher, and son-in-law Robert P. Zilai(Deborah). She is also survived by seven grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
Arrangements are under the care of Orender Family Home for Funerals, 2643 Old Bridge Road, Manasquan, NJ 08736. Family and friends are invited to attend a Church Service at the Church in Brielle, Brielle, NJ, on Saturday, December 16, 2023, at 11am.
