BLAIR COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) — Firefighters are currently battling a fire at a lumber yard and warehouse in Claysburg.
Crews were called out Monday, March 18 to 218 Ward Drive for a report of a fire at U.S. Lumber. The building is a lumber yard and distribution center.
The Captain of the Duncansville Fire Company said that everyone from the building got out safely.
Details about the fire are limited, but a crew member on scene described being able to see towers of smoke and hearing a large “boom.”
